I left out something from yesterday at the hospital; the story of a boy with a 'hole in his heart'. His parents are very young and obviously not financially able to pay for surgery to heal their little boy. This raises my concern about young people who barely earn a living, yet are getting married and rearing children. It's a sad situation really. I don't know if it's just me or.... i just don't think i would have any children till i'm financially able to while my biological clock is still ticking.
NB: this doesn't mean i don't want kids, i mean, who doesn't want those little monkeys running about the house, messing with everything and making a whole lot of noise? Shifting the topic to kids, someone once said ''they are the only gifts you have to keep for 9months and kick, push and scream just to see them when the 9 months are over''. ----> That's so true.
